I made this fabric for this coat out of Merino wool with Mother of pearl buttons  I used the same fabric to make a vest with Viking pewter buttons the fabric inside is a tartan ( see below) Hand woven cotton fabric in the Young Clan tartan  Is amazing looking inside the vest  This past winter I have been weaving wool fabric for clothing .
