Battle of Bunker Hill Day! June 17 1775

Well              could you imagine the confusion ,noise and rumors that were flying that day when men and young boys ran to Charleston for the battle of Bunker Hill. In my reading I found that as far away as Dover NH the men ran to help and bring the gun powder stored in their communities.

General Putnam was leading an awfully unruly group .How could it possible be done? The British had more casualties  though than the Americans in the end.
